Human Paths is an administrative and technology platform. We organize your medical information so that an independently licensed physician in Mexico can review your case and form an opinion about whether a particular treatment might be appropriate for you.
That physician may conclude that it is not. If so, you will be told.
What we are not
We are not a clinic. We do not employ physicians, operate a facility, or provide medical care.
We do not sell treatment. We do not set prices, publish them, or collect payment. Any fees are established and communicated directly by the treating physician, and you pay that physician directly.
We do not decide whether you are a candidate. No one here can tell you that a treatment is right for you. That determination belongs to a physician who has reviewed your records.
If you have just received difficult news
You are probably reading many websites right now. Some of them promise recovery, show photographs of people who got better, and suggest you act quickly.
We do not do that, and there is a reason beyond compliance: in oncology, no one can honestly guarantee an outcome. Anyone who does is telling you something they cannot know.
What we can do is explain what is known, what is not, and how the process works — so that whatever you decide, you decide it with real information.
One thing worth saying immediately: do not stop or delay treatment your medical team has prescribed in order to pursue another option, without discussing it with them first. That is the most serious documented risk facing patients who explore care abroad.
